WHAT HAPPENS IN AN EVERYDAY STRENGTH CLASS?
You’ll work in a small group using free weights and resistance tools — no reformer, just you, the floor and functional movements. Your instructor will guide you through proper form, breathing and technique for each exercise.
Every exercise is taught with Pilates precision: control, breath and body awareness. You’ll build strength safely and effectively, with personal guidance throughout.

After a lot of research into which Pilates class I should attend, as a complete novice, I came across ‘Pilates on Collinwood St’. Jane, Mickaela and the team have been brilliant teachers. Pilates on Collingwood is an intimate, friendly environment. I’ve never liked exercising and was a bit sceptical when I did my trial classes, 6 months later I can say I have found an exercise I really enjoy. Recently I’ve been having issues with my knees while exercising, and with a few small tweaks it’s feeling so much better already, turns out I just needed a little bit of “Jane”. I would recommend anyone unsure of doing something new, give it a try, Jane and the girls are so welcoming & helpful.
