NEVER BEEN ON A REFORMER?
YOU WON’T BE THE ONLY ONE.
Our Beginners Program teaches you reformer Pilates properly from the start. Six classes over three weeks at our studio in Albion, Brisbane, in a group of no more than eight people who have never done it either.
Upcoming dates are on the booking page.

EVERYONE IN THE ROOM IS A BEGINNER:
The thing people worry about most is walking in and being the one who doesn’t know what they’re doing. In the Beginners Program that’s everyone, because nobody has done this before. You all start on the same day, at the same point and work through the same six classes in the same order.
That’s why we run it as its own program rather than telling beginners to come along to a regular class and find their feet. You’re not slotting into a room where everyone already knows what they’re doing. There’s nothing to keep up with yet. You learn it together.
You don’t need to be fit, flexible or prepared for this. You just need to turn up.
If you’re working around a significant injury, talk to us first. Sometimes this is the right place to start and sometimes it isn’t, and we’d rather work that out with you than have you guess.
WHAT YOU’LL LOVE

HOW THE THREE WEEKS ACTUALLY RUN
Six classes, two a week, in the same group of eight the whole way through.
YOUR FIRST CLASS
Arrive five or ten minutes early and we’ll show you around before we start. Bring grip socks and a water bottle, and wear activewear you can move in. If you don’t have grip socks we sell them in the studio, so no need to go hunting for a pair beforehand.
Class one is on the floor. You’ll be taken through it step by step, and your instructor will be watching how you move and correcting things as you go. That’s the point of a group of eight.
After each session we send you a short recap video of what you did, so you can practice it at home before the next one. Most people find things start to stick between classes rather than during them.
You’ll leave having worked, and most people leave a bit surprised at themselves.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE PROGRAM?
Once you’ve finished your six classes you move into Reformer Essentials. Basic exercises, a slower pace, different spring settings and a mix of abilities in the room.
From there your practice grows at whatever pace suits you. You might stay in Reformer Essentials for months while you build strength and confidence, or you might feel ready to try Reformer Everyday sooner. There’s no rush. You move forward when you’re ready.
