“So far I’ve gained 5.5kg muscle and lost 6kg. The studio has small classes and a friendly, supportive vibe. Jane, Mickaela and the team are very passionate instructors with an incredible breadth of knowledge.”

What you’ll love about Everyday Strength

Small classes, personal coaching
Only 8 people per class. Your instructor watches your form closely, corrects your technique, and makes sure you’re moving safely. You’ll never feel lost, just coached.

Taught with Pilates precision
Train with the same control, breath, and body awareness Pilates teaches, while building real, functional strength. Every movement is intentional.

Calm, supportive atmosphere
No shouty music. No mirrors. No egos. Just focused, effective training in our welcoming small studio environment.

Builds what matters most
Lean muscle keeps your metabolism strong. Bone density protects your movement for decades. Functional power makes daily life effortless. Whether you’re 30 or 60, building strength now matters.

Strength that shows up in life
This isn’t bodybuilding. It’s building the strength to carry luggage, move furniture, play with kids, haul shopping bags without thinking twice.

“I’ve done Pilates at multiple studios; however, these classes are by far my favourite as you get a lot more help and a better understanding of each exercise which has helped me see results so much faster.”

How Everyday Strength complements Pilates

Reformer Pilates builds: Core strength, stability, control, body awareness
Everyday Strength builds: Functional power, lean muscle, bone density

Together? They support how you move now—and how you want to keep moving as your body changes.

“The perfect complement to my two Pilates classes per week. I am turning 50 this year and strength training is critical to maintaining health and supporting longevity. This class is setting me up to be able to eventually lift heavier weights by working on my core strength. Looking forward to my strength journey this year. It’s expertly taught as all classes are at Pilates on Collingwood, and it’s also lots of fun!”
